Privacy
What the app says about a child's information today. Full privacy details are coming soon.

A parent says yes first
Children under 13 can only use Dilly after a parent or guardian says yes.
What Dilly keeps
Dilly keeps your child's first name, birth date, school grade, companion and nickname, and what your child writes, draws and makes, plus their progress. We use this to run Dilly for your family and show you how your child is doing.
Who can see it
In the app, your child and grown-ups with access to their profile can see it. The people who run Dilly's servers can reach it. So can the companies that host or process it for us, like our hosting and email companies. We use them only to run Dilly.
Dilly does not sell it and does not share it for ads. There are no ads. Nothing your child makes is posted anywhere.
Payments
If you buy a plan, Stripe handles the payment. Dilly does not see your card. Stripe gets your email and an ID code, never your child's name. Dilly keeps the plan and its dates.
What a grown-up can do
A grown-up can look at what your child has made and learned in the Parent/Teacher area, and can delete your child's profile in Settings. Deleting a profile removes their progress, badges, streak and everything they made from the app. You cannot bring it back from the app.
The waitlist
The waitlist is for parents. Please do not enter anything about your child.
What we collect. Your email. If you choose to tell us more: your first name, your kids' grade bands, how many kids you have, your device, what you care about, how you heard about Dilly, and a short note. We also keep which page of this site you joined from and the campaign link you came from, if there was one, and when you joined and said yes to our emails. To stop abuse, we keep a scrambled copy of the internet address a sign up came from. It is not the address itself.
Why. To email you when Dilly is ready, to send occasional updates, and to learn what parents want.
How long. Until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after you last interacted with us, for example by confirming or updating your details. When you unsubscribe, we delete your email, name, note and answers. We keep only a scrambled copy of your email, so we never add you back by mistake, plus the date and a record that you agreed to be emailed.
Who can see it. The Dilly team, and the companies that run Dilly, like our hosting and email companies. We use them only to run Dilly. We do not sell it and we do not share it for ads.
Counting visits. The site counts anonymous visits to the waitlist page and the steps people take there. It uses no cookies and keeps no personal information. It does not count visits if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
Unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@hellodilly.com.
Questions about privacy
Email privacy@hellodilly.com and tell us what you need. Please leave your child's name out of the first email.
Full privacy details coming soon
This page repeats what the app says today. It is not a full privacy policy yet. We will add one here before launch. Our terms of use are on their own page.
